Earth Garden 2016

The 10th edition of Earth Garden was held last month, 3-5 June 2016, and it was exceptionally awesome! Super nice weather, excellent location, happy vibes, beautiful people and amazing music!

As usual, we set up our little marque, put up a stall and started Dreadlocking!

Surprise Surprise! We made it on the national newspaper with this huge image :) of Nakul and Joshua jammin' at the stall and our friend Sandy looking on... I was actually next to Sandy but they decided to crop me out!

Our colourful stall featured our recent handmade pallet art, the most popular hemp rucksacks, our handmade feather hair clips, bohemian and rasta jewellery, ethnic clothing, and our spiritual corner with singing bowls and hindu and buddhist statues - all from our shop Bohemia.

These two were the stars of the show!

Sliema Arts Festival 2016

Sliema Art's Festival official photos granted us this amazing shot of Nakul doing Emma's dreads on the Sliema Promenade. It took him the entire Sunday morning and afternoon and at the end we had a very happy client :)

It was a week-long fun festival starting on 11th June with a freakin' windy weekend! But still we went on and had a little stall in the most cool location ever, right next to the beach!

Highlight of the stall were the 'Territory of Love' hats and our hemp bags, together with some jewellery and some pallet art.

This is Surfer's Paradise - 'We are all Aliens' set up near the beach at night!
Organized by Duncan F and Alex Thomson this amazing set up was definitely the coolest I've ever seen :)
A kinda thing that attracts good vibes only :)

Earth Garden 2014

The most incredible festival in Malta, Earth Garden, took place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of June.

Our stall was set up near the Enchanted Forest, under the grateful shade of the trees.
With different live music every 2 hours, we enjoyed every beat.

Keep Calm And Get Dreadlocks featured dreadlocks making and fixing services as well as hair strings. The selection of over 50 clip-on strings that can be seen hanging in the above image, were a huge success. An array of colours, beads, feathers, charms, and different techniques of macrame made them a sell-out.

'How badly do you like skulls' was a collection of jewellery, scarfs, cushion covers, and anatomically precise skull clay sculptures that our friend Tom creates.

Our stall was enhanced with beautiful bags, belts and hats, handmade from Nepal.

There was also the section with a variety of body piercing items, including glow in the dark tunnels, together with steel, titanium and organic piercings.

And finally there was the brand new stock of dreadlocks beanies, hats, beads and charms.

All good things come to an end...

As we watch the video of the 2014 edition, and see ourselves... we recall those fantastic memories... and look forward for Earth Garden 2015!
