We love HEMP!!!

Hemp

At the boutique of our Dreadlock Salon we strive to be innovative and contemporary also in the materials of the items we present to our customers.

One of the most talked about materials at the moment is Hemp, which comes from the Cannabis plant. Hemp is refined not only in clothing, but also in seed food, oil, wax, resin, rope, pulp, paper and fuel.

At Bohemia we are introducing for the first time in the country hemp sandals.

 For her

 For him

 And Unisex

We also have a selection of back bags

Hemp is several times stronger than cotton and have a much lighter impact on the environment. While cotton requires a heavy use of water, pesticides, energy and fertilizers to grow, harvest and be processed, hemp and jute grow well in high rainfall areas with little or no pesticides and fertilizers.

Therefore when you choose hemp you are helping the environment as well!

Oh! Almost forgot!
We have hemp rolling papers too! Thanks to Ziggy :)

Hand-made creations at Bohemia

Our little island is full of talented artists that create wonderful things with their hands. To create something hand-made is no easy job. You have to be patient, you have to be meticulous, you have to be disciplined and you have to be a strategists.

They participate in events such as the Artisan Market, where unfortunately many people don't appreciate the value of hand-made and feel that the items are over priced, when in reality, most artists are just trying to break even.

At BOHEMIA we have dedicated space for artists to showcase their creations:

1. Paint My Dream
Splendid clay decorations ideal for grown ups as well as kids. The imagination of Jelena has no limits and this is just a small idea of what she can do! Every day getting better and better :)

2. Berivan Serin Stone Painting
Amazing and colourful stones that can be used as a paper weight or just as is. Many of them have inspirational messages on them. Even for Beri the sky's the limit!

3. MANI Handmade
Annabelle and her beautiful art of Macrame', where she creates not just the common necklaces and bracelets, but intricate head bands, anklets and rings as well as lighter holders.

4. Kefa - Organic Coffee Soap
From a true coffee lover comes this refreshing idea of organic coffee soap, made with almond oil, olive oil and coconut oil.

Bohemia

This was a dream we have been cultivating for the past 2 years, and after a series of events we finally managed to make it come true.

So here it is: the very first dedicated professional Dreadlock Salon in Malta!

But there's more; Bohemia is actually a 3-in-1 concept: the first part of the outlet is the boutique; the second part of the outlet is a Dreadlock Salon; and the third part is a Body Piercing Studio.

We have put a lot of effort to reflect our personality and tastes into the outlet. We wanted an original theme and a salon that shouts creativity, innovation and charm. At the same time keeping the place inviting and friendly.

Most of the items at the Boutique are made in Nepal, but also India, Indonesia and Thailand. The Boutique features men and women clothing, jewellery, footwear, hats, bags, and several other accessories, as well as home decor.

BOHEMIA is located at 58B, Birkirkara Road, St Julians
